WHAT WE OFFER
At Hidden Oaks all ages and all riding abilities are welcome!
We teach beginners, who are learning how to ride and care for the horse, as well as seasoned riders, who are competing at the local or national level.
Safety is key and we structure our lessons around your goals to fit each individuals riding needs, whether it is just for exercise or serious competing.
We schedule riding times around your availability and we are very flexible. Our covered arena and outdoor jumping ring have lights and make it possible to ride, rain or shine and even after work or school, all year round.
Beginner, group and private lessons are available.
All of our lessons are 1 hour long. Grooming and tacking up is included in all beginner lessons so everyone gets used to the routine of getting the horse ready to ride.
We have well-schooled lesson horses and ponies, for all levels and abilities, for you or your child to learn on.
Horse owners, who wish to trailer in for lessons, or meet at shows, are always welcome to do so.
We believe learning to ride and handling big animals, like horses, teaches respect, responsibility, discipline and patience. It also gives riders better coordination and is great exercise! Riding connects you to back to nature and the outdoors!

During this lesson we will start with grooming and tacking up. Then move on to learning how to walk, trot and canter on the longe line. Once the student has successfully completed all the tasks in this class, they will graduate to the Group Lessons.
In the group lessons, we will have a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced students. The beginner students will work on walk, trot and canter. All students will need to be at the barn 20 minutes before the start of the lesson to groom & tack up. Students are expected to be in the ring on time.
We offer private one on one lessons with Susie to work on whatever the student needs to work on at that time.
